Something that enables me to teach with respect and appreciation for diversity is that I hold dual nationality: Uruguayan and Spanish. This background has allowed me to understand the value of having a broad cultural heritage and a history that has shown me how enriching it is to recognize and embrace different worldviews as part of our shared cultural wealth.
Recognizing the importance of keeping an open mind inspires my commitment to celebrating the diversity of the Spanish-speaking world. Today, Spanish is the official language in 21 countries, each contributing its own character and uniqueness. Exploring and appreciating this variety is what makes our language so special.
These are the values that inspired El Latido Spanish, and with them, I design all of my class content so that you, my students, can discover and enjoy the linguistic and cultural richness of the Spanish language.
