Teaching Spanish in South Korea

Teaching Spanish has given me many satisfactions, such as having the opportunity to work and live in South Korea. During my years in Korea, I was able to learn from the wisdom of the Korean people and teach many elementary and middle school students our wonderful language. Among the memorable educational experiences I had at this time are having formed a dance group of Latin rhythms, witnessing the joy of my Korean students breaking their first piñata, and working with Latino parents residing in Korea who generously offered their time to do activities with the students in the Spanish class.
